Your speech therapist can implement compensatory strategies to improve communication and increase participation with daily routines.

Aphasia: Getting the Right Words Out

Aphasia is when a person has a difficult time saying or understanding words in conversation. Aphasia commonly occurs after someone experiences a stroke. Aphasia can cause difficulty speaking, reading, writing, or understanding speech.
